We made it to present the European Design Stories project at the most important world design event – Salone del Mobile in Milan. In this occasion, we are also launching a printed book.
The presentation simply called European Design Stories is on display from 12 to 17 April at Palazzo Clerici in the Brera district. It consists of a mosaic of video interviews and short documentaries by Jan Rybák on the designers and places encountered during our design trips made in 2015. More than 30 designers and creative projects are on display, including Zanellato/Bortotto, taliaYstudio, Casa Mollino, Francesco Faccin and Nucleo. The installation was designed by OKOLO.
In the occasion of Milan Design Week, we are also launching a comprehensive 350-page book with a subtitle Reflection of design in European countries. It surveys our research and presents a chronological visual diary from our trips accompanied by selected interviews.
In addition, the supplementary collection of essays by ten significant European design critics and curators, including Marco Raino, Matylda Krzykowski, Johanna Agerman Ross, Tulga Beyerle, Maja Vardjan and others, reflects current background of the design scene in the old continent.
